Absolutely! It’s never too late to start improving your health. Believe me, I should know, I started my fitness and nutrition journey the week I turned 40!
I had no muscle 💪🏻 and poor nutrition. It can seem overwhelming, especially since our bodies have started to show signs of aging 👵🏻.
When I first started working out, I lost some weight and was left with sagging skin and a flat butt. I realized I had to build muscle 🏋️♀️to give my body shape.
But it wasn’t just about having a shapely body. There are so many other great health benefits of having muscle.
In order to grow muscle, I had to fuel my body with proper nutrition. Sometimes, it’s just the lack of knowledge that leads us to do nothing. That was me for 25 years!
I made the decision to start, and just took one day at a time. Don’t look at how far you have to go - take today and do what you can. I realize at 44 my skin may be loose, and I may have stretch marks and lines on my face, but I can still improve my health and have a physique at the same time. I am in the best shape of my life, and you can be too! TRUST me, if I can do it, anyone CAN 👊!
