Want to know how I eat during the holidays 🦃?⬇️⬇️⬇️
Let me preface what I’m about to say below with, you will not put on a bunch of weight from taking 1️⃣ day to let loose🕺🏼 and enjoy yourself! Remember, there are 36 other meals throughout the week (if you’re eating 6 x per day)!!
My suggestion is to take the actual day as your treat 🍬day (or cheat day, or “Faturday,” whatever you want to call it). Holidays are a time to relax 😌 and enjoy 😋 yourself. With that being said, here’s how I approach the day:
🔶I make sure I still get my protein 🍗 throughout the day. My muscles 💪🏻 still need to be fed.
🔶I eat my usual breakfast, lunch and snacks that I always do leading up to the “feast”🍗🥔🍠🥗🥖🍷🥧.
🔶When it’s time to partake, I’ll fill my plate with any of the foods that I’ve been wanting all year! But, I won’t overdo it, not because I’m afraid of putting on pounds, but because it makes me feel sick 🤢 and that’s not a fun way to celebrate🥳.
🔶I don’t count, weigh ⚖️ or measure 📏anything!!!
🔶I will get right back on track with my eating 🥩🍚🥑the next day.
Remember, it’s what you do 80% of the time that makes the difference 👌!
Happy 🦃 Thanksgiving!
